Tiger Force - DPRG, Second Glory War 2288
« on: 05 November 2010, 01:23:07 AM »
Tiger Force, a highly mobile strike unit stationed near Foix Gap. Tiger Force was one of the better units of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Glory and saw extensive combat during the war, first against Republic of Arden troops and then against the USMC.

The force was almost exclusively equipped with Brazilian military hardware, even the soldiers hardened polyceramic armour came from Brazil. Despite being relatively well equipped, and having extensive combat experience, the unit was not chosen to be re-equipped with the first arrivals of grav tanks and APCs. Indeed the war ended and Tiger Force was disbanded, never receiving the most advanced equipment available to the DPRG.

Despite this Tiger Force maintained a reputation for fast striking ambushes and raids into Arden territory and its was equally at home in stand-up fights. To this day, Arden colonists still speak in hushed tones of the raids and ambushes of the 'Tigers'.

15mm, unless I miss my guess. GZG has been coming out with some absolutely gorgeous 15mm SF stuff in the last couple of years... pity my local gaming lot stopped doing 15mm SF about 4 years ago!   >:(

Great paintjobs and bases on the vehicles and especially the figures!

Yep, very nice stuff.

And V's paint work has done them great justice.

Well done!

If I'm not mistaken the figures are from the new Israeli line with a very nice paintjob. They look great, awesome force you've got there.

Yeh they're great minis I grabbed Agee packs at fiasco too. The detail is really nice on them, really enjoying painting them which has quite surprised me as I haven't painted 15mm in ages. Would definitely recommend them, the end result speaks for itself here.

I really like the way you painted these. It really look like a plausible color scheme for a future war army. Very nice work 8)
