As I needed something of a diversion from all my Boxers I grabbed a 99p Hotwheels Aston Martin V8 from the supermarket and re-did it in the colours of a GT2 racer I had seen on ebay in 1/43rd scale. Far from perfect but I was quite pleased with it for an evenings work. Homemade decals - not freehand I hasten to add.

Originally silver, I did another into gunmetal for a 007 collector who wanted it to match the latest film.
