They look good! I've never considered using housepaints for minis... Did you have to thin them down at all?

It's not a typo, although Fart is not too much worse than Furt and I have been known to be a bit of a cry-baby on occasion. Crying would be no stranger to you - eh Flashman? 

The house paint wasn't thinned out at all - with the mauve paint in particular being quite smooth and easy to apply.

I do not consider myself, in any way, shape or form, to be in the league that the majority of LAF'ers seem to fall in, but I do think my painting has improved. They are painted with acrylic house paints and Army Painter (there you go - that proves my "skills" are surely lacking). Please be gentle!

I don't know why, but I feel like I've been deservedly slapped in the face. All this pompous talk about high pigmentation, acrylic sovlents and Kolinsky brushes, and you manage to get such nice results with wall paints and dip?

I implore all LAF painters to take up the challenge and try using some acrylic house paints on their minis - I bet you all achieve similar results to your current paints.

And Christian we pay $6AU for a pot of 12ml GW paint, while Bunnings charges $8AU for a 250ml pot. 

Every time I open a GW pot I lose half of it around the rim!
