Tintin in R'lyeh
« on: 22 November 2010, 01:51:39 PM »
Found this @ TMP and thought it somewhat amusing:

EDIT: got curious and found these to:

One a side note: all this also makes me wonder just how Spielberg and Jackson are going to make a mess out of the Great Journalist.

There's more:

The drawings of Tintin and Haddock all seem to be direct copies from Hergé illustrations. I guess this chap just can't draw Tintin on his own.   :(

Yum yum! lol

Let's just hope the Captain is inebriated enough to pass his sanity check and scare old Squidface squidless with one of his tirades of amusingly alliterative expletives.

It's not CG is it ???  :(

I love Tin Tin and those book covers are great  :)

On a slight aside, has anyone managed to wargame Tin Tin?

cheers

James

I've seen someone do a battle report with Copplestone's Nottintin. Was it Plynkes?

Snowy/Milou's Grandad was in a battle report...

...but not the boy reporter himself. I have painted the Tintin figure, but I haven't ever used him in a battle.

Ages ago I did however post a couple of panels from the unpublished Tintin en Thaïlande...

Great stuff, wish we had more of that, Dylan. Not what I was thinking of though. Who was it...?

I seem to recall that battle report on here somewhere too.

And I think there was a great tintin game at crisis a few years ago.

I did my own versions, but haven't gamed with them yet.

There was a UK club (Peterborough ?) that had a game a couple of years back.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)
