Saw figures in the flesh at the weekend and the usual problem of them being smaller than there own plastics
I like the idea of something different but I will stick to TAG

I imagine the Wallenstein figure would not look too out of place at the head of a TAG army. TAG is also my default manufacturer for all things Imperial and TYW-ish, although I may look somewhere else for cuirassiers as I'm not overly fond of the TAG heavies : they're about the only Nick Collier sculpts that somehow don't work for me, which is odd as I positively love the TAG TYW range. I was thinking of using the Bicorne cuirassiers instead, although they may be a tad larger than the TAG cavalry.

I'll most certainly invest in the Warlord Wallenstein figure, even though in real life the man almost certainly wore a back and breast over a buff coat rather than the full 3/4 armour 17th century painters traditionally depicted military commanders in.

They are also showing Johan t'Serclaes Count Tilly  currently (probably the best Belgian general ever  ;))

Again, a really nice, characterful figure.

Just not convinced by the horse  :(

I like all three of the characters, but the horses do look both small and not quite right to me.  If horses and riders are completely separate, that might work out.
