Alex,

About time man, I was wondering when I would see some nice Pirates! So are you going to do other Pirate types (Naval Officers, perhaps some Priavteers)?

Just when I thought it was safe to start looking at minis again these show up! Good job man...

These models would make really fine privateers. Actually they look more privateers then pirates to me.

Navy is not sure yet.

Fantastic, Alex! I'm into pirates again next year, having something bigger to build for a customer ... So this range fits in perfectly!

WOW!

i really like the dresses... they look more elaborate than simple privateers, it should be GREAT to have the masked face option, to make some kind of Venice's Carnival miniatures! ^^

Excellent stuff indeed 8)  ...will they be more affordable than the Foundry ones? ;)

Those are spectacularly good and I shall be getting some!
Interestingly they look kind of midway between the Foundry Cutthroat range and the Black Scorpion range, style-wise.
How they size up will be interesting.
I bought a lot of the Black Scorpion pirates when they first came out, but they stand so much taller than the Foundry figures, and are stylistically so very different, that I've never bothered to paint them.
But these new figures look irresistible  :-*

This range is more historical one than Hollywood. According to Igor, the models are 28mm to the eyes and will be more compatible with Foundry than with Black Scorpion. I’ll post scale comparison pics as soon as I’ll get them, though I don’t have any Black Scorpion pirates but loads of Foundry ones.

I like them a lot, and we will certainly buy them once they are available.  You can never have too many pirates, and these are particularly nice ones.

We shamelessly mix Foundry, Black Scorpion, Eureka, and Reaper pirates.

I would like to see a pack of female pirates in this style.  The BS and Eureka ones are good figures, but very Fredericks-of-Hollywoodish.  Any chances?

I have been forbidden to buy any figures for myself until after Christmas and my birthday (early Jan.), but once those events have passed, I'm sending in an order!
