Foundry Paint Pallet for British Kakhi tans?
« on: December 08, 2010, 01:17:36 PM »
...i.e.British  colonial uniforms. I am running out of the basic colour I use for this, Reaper Hawkwood, and I need to find a substitute since Reaper has reformulated their range. I've treied and found the Foundry pallets to be very convenient so I'd like to start by giving it a shot if there is a suitable one. So which one do you use for this purpose, people?

If you don't want to get into mixing paint, just use the rawhide triad. You could always lighten it up with a little off white too. The GW Khaki is also a nice medium shade.

For a colonial look I would go for Foundry 12 drab

Or Coat d'arms faded khaki triad
