Painted Sci Fi/Post Apoc Heavy Troopers
« on: 09 December 2010, 06:24:14 PM »
These are the test paints for a few squads of GW Karskin guys I bought when I had the silly idea to do 40k( I do that too much). Love the figs, etc etc...

Anyway I didn't want them to sit there, so I have appropriated them and their Cadian friends as a faction for my Sci Fi space opera world called Hollow Shell. Earth confederations in space, ruining it too. They are the troops for the Hispania Union. Will be using Tomorrows War for battle rules, and play testing the SciFi/Post Apoc rules for Fistful of Lead skirmish actions.

They could also be used for the Engineers Guild (imagine the power of the engineer if they can figure out old tech and make new) in my Post Apoc/Gamma World. I seem to be doing a lot of Brown and Tan these days...

Pretty cool. The blue on the grenades is surprisingly effective.
