Gloss would work but I think you would get more of a wet snow look satin gives it that dull sheen like real snow can't hurt to try though pal

I use this http://www.tabletop-store.com/tt_en/vallejo-satin-acrylic-polyurethane-varnish-60ml.html

I just happened across your Mordheim board/project pal.........and I had a party in my pants!!! that is awesome

Still looking good.

The cyclops head really looks disturbingly filthy :)

I was wondering, are you also going to do paint some translucent veins on the guy? I'd love to see you try that and it would probably make the entire thing even more disturbing...

Thanks pal, don't worry there are copious amounts of veins to go on and all other manner of nastiness, just wanted to get the base skin done on the entire body first, although I think I need to sort out some kind of wooden plinth to paint him on at the moment I am just holding him with rubber gloves on

Nice, very nice! Agree with you as well on the arse cheeks, they look a bit bland compared to the rest. Pretty sure though that they won't stay like that ;)
