Very moody paintjobs on those werewolves.  :-*

They look fantastic. Very high standard of painting.  :o

Say, are any part of the skin going to be pale and flaky, like real moulting skin?

I suppose someone else mentioned blood, so it all depends on what kind of transformation you have in mind. Chaos figures don't seem to be ones to go for a painless process when there's a painful equivalent, so I wouldn't blame you for going with the blood option. But I bet a snake-like skin-shed is something almost no-one's tried.

THe guys at Warhammer World will do that professionally at the end of September when everything goes up there for a couple of months, I dont have the set up to be able to photograph all those models decently.

Warhammer Forge (Forgeworld's WFB wing)

Stunning paintwork yet again, are they really GW sculpts? They look actually decent compared to some of the other stuff they've released in a past couple of years since I stopped bothering to look.

Yes and no, they are Forgeworld/Warhammer Forge sculpts done by Keith Robertson.  By doing these he made up for sculpting the monstrosity that was the stag headed squirel monster with budgie feet hands......otherwise known as the Elemental of Beasts.

I repainted the alpha wolf's flayed skin as it was a little sloppy and unsmooth and did the 2nd wolf at the same time

Now that is some nice work! Really does say "loose skin" at a glance, which is NOT an easy effect to pull off!

This is a great thread! Some very nice paint and conversion work. Have you ever thought about participating in the Golden Demon competition?
