OSL training
« on: December 19, 2010, 11:23:14 AM »
Heya LAFers!

Last night I was adding some new stuff (actually new pics of minis painted some time ago) to my gallery and found this one - it was painted for NQ painting challenge some time ago but somehow hasn't been posted yet.
The theme was "Ride by lightning" so I added paperclips onto staff's top and tried painitng osl.
Hope you like it ;)

If you want to see some more new piccies - check my gallery on Plinth Country site :)

Thanks!
The green is simple Vallejo combo: scorpy green, livery green and white ;)

No, I meant the way that it lights up the figure and base.  Lovely.

Very nicely painted, though the back seems to be even better than the front for clarity of osl effect.

Thanks - I know but I was unable to twist her hand so the carries staff's top in front of her face :?
It was just a training anyway ;)

Well your training is still better than my best! I really envy people who can paint as well as you.

Thanks!
It's nothing but training + browsing forums for useful tips and advices, no black magic secret nor talent involved :)
