Sorry for the lack of updates.

The whole fish for subs has developed into 'Battle of the Aquanauts' thread at the top of the VSF Page.

I thought for completeness I'd show my efforts with the squid sub here and in the other thread.



The tentacles are cones made out of glossy magazine cover over a steal wire former. I'm thinking of a buzz saw, some suction pads and spikes ,weapons-wise, for the other tentacles.

Just kidding.  Seriously though I think a verdigris'ed copper would off-set some of the other models on your board as they are all darker colors.  Great build by the way.

Looks great and I third the red colour but make it a bit more ochery and not so bright...

Or, how about red on most of the top and a black/dark grey underbelly  :)
