Foundry miniatures start reaching GWorkshop prices... :-\

How fits this mini to 2000AD? Looks more like one of their victorian gentlements under a diffent name...
"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

Did you also get their mail about the coming price increases? Just ridiculous...

No, I'm not in their mailinglist. But a friend said some weeks ago that Foundry is a big company and when they keep growing they'll also increase the prices. Too bad my friend seems to be right.

Could you post the email here? I'm curious about this issue.

The Email says:

Quote

The prices of our paints and brushes have not really changed over the last three years despite us having to absorb significant increases in material and other related costs over the same period.

Following a further cost increase, we are very sorry to have to tell you we are unable to maintain the current prices of paints and brushes and have decided that, as from September 1st 2006, our paint and brush prices have to rise significantly.

We would advise all of our customers to check their paint and brush stocks to find out if they need to order replacements before the price increases come into effect.

Also, we have been warned by a lot of our suppliers that because of the significant increases in energy costs over the last year even more cost increases will follow, but it is too soon at the moment to say when and by how much; we will hold our prices down for as long as possible but we think it is only fair to warn you that price rises on all of our products in the not too distant future seems almost certain.

More sales for me and Coat D'arms paints then... :-)
