Agreed!  My panzergrenadiers are either walking, bein trucked in or stealing the air assault FJ's Dragons.  I need me some kick ass 1/48 kittens!

Yeah, now should be a great time to launch the Kätzchen, with Konflikt '47 doing the rounds. WW2 still going around in 1947 would be a great motive to have some "Paper Panzers" in our forces.

I'll maybe post my German forces here at the end of the week maybe once I've had some more painted, but to awkwardly slide myself into this thread (...my hope peaks every time I see a new post here for an eventual release  ), I've a Rubicon Hetzer I'll start converting into a Kätzchen once its hopefully delivered tomorrow.

Again, not to thread jack, but here's my own Kätzchen made from a Rubicon Hetzer, sitting about 90% done bar some details and general tidying (I'm out of greenstuff, so some of the bits are really chunky looking because I'm stuck with milliput unfortunately).



I'll post it painted in my own thread. This is the rough one, another will turn up eventually, but working off of established measurements instead of trial and error (i.e. all that gap filling).

Oh, and the good thing about that Rubicon kit? You get two sets of tracks, so you can scratch build the lower and upper hulls and have two APCs (or an APC and a Hetzer) out of one box.

So, any news on the 1/48 version of this?  Been patiently waiting for like years with the possibility of such a product. 

Would love a definite yes or no on the project. 

If no, I might just be on the lookout for a crowdfunder for this thing in 1/48.

Wonder if anyone would be in for such a project?
