Hi Jeff,

for me the scale of choice for WWW II is 1:48. I will use the Kätzchen with the DUST stuff wich is done in 1:48 too. I believe there are many others out there with the same idea.

So please do them in 1:48 too, if the demand /response is big enough.

I use 1/48 and 1/50 scale vehicles for SOTR49 and DUST. I know it's all personal preference, but they just seem to work better with the "heroic" minis. I would like at least three of the apc version, and at least one of any other variants (depending on type). At this point, I'd settle for a conversion kit for a 1/48 hetzer!!

All I have left to do for the 1/48 scale version is to master the tracks. I might just release the 1/48 scale SdKfz.251/D I purchased the master for, from Tony Ashcroft, at the same time.

I'm still in for a couple in 1/48 and a stummel version at the very least.Probably more if there is a turreted version with a 20mm.

Interesting idea. I didn't check if the master fit existing 1/48 Hetzer and 38T tracks, but I bet it would. Something to think about Jeff, if all you need to do is release the hull. I think I also have some 1/48 masters for an MG-42, German jerry cans, and assorted parts here somewhere.

A big issue though is that Tamiya is winding down their 1/48 line. Is the Hetzer still available or is it retired?

There will be something to show next week. I've been bogged down with casting and mould replacement...

There will be the APC and at least mock ups of 2 turreted variants.
