This will be a great boon if Scheltrum can pull it off.  This is a huge promise to live up to.  I am in for a large order if it comes to fruition.

Currently only the original Cannon Fodder figs, now sold by Blazeaway Miniatures fill the bill

And most of those are abysmal. I know, I have the originals. There are various Foundry and BTD figures that will pass muster with a little paint and conversion. Even some of the earlier Cannonfodder Anglo-Irish range are better minis. Foundry tend to be a little on the small size and BTD has an appalling reputation for filling orders but there are more options out there.

i like the sound of the weapons packs  :D

Can you do a MKV & a MKV* as no one else in the UK produces one, there's only Brigade Games that make a MKV

Ha, yes not up to Old Glory or Musketeer standards, but one man's abysmal is another mans joy (or at least another man's OK).  These fill in with lots of other ranges to give a good total collection.

I'd suggest possibly making a Daimler Marienfelde truck.

You see them all the time in photographs of the period, but no one makes one yet.

I agree that the Cannonfodder figures are decent enough to fill in some gaps in other ranges.

Also usable are Volksturm figures with rifles from many of the WW2 ranges.

Great news, this will surely come very handy when making freikorps units for AVBCV, not to mention other very interesting conflicts.

Hello everybody,

Quote
I'd suggest possibly making a Daimler Marienfelde truck.

I'm quite sure that the truck that my mate is building is a Daimler. The Russian truck will be a Russo-Balt. Another possible vehicle, if there is room in the mould is the Sturmpanzerwagen Oberschlesien which, granted, never saw the light of day, but is just too cool a vehicle to pass up on. More info here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturmpanzerwagen_Oberschlesien

As a progress report: the vehicles are in the fine detailing stage and I hope to put up some pictures of the WIP at the weekend, Monday the latest. We are also expecting the first greens back in the course of next week, IIRC armed workers.

We're chuffed there is so much interest in this range and we'll do our best to live up to the expectations.

Regards
Karl

Dear all,

here is a, blurry, WIP shot of the Erhardt.

Some more can be seen here:

There are more pictures, but my mate, being the technophobe that he is, cannot manage to email them to me. Once I have them I will add them to the album on photobucket.

Regards
Karl
