real nice tutorial on quick building construction
« on: February 03, 2011, 09:26:25 PM »
I ran across this from a link on a different blog....you have to love the interwebs!  It looks like a real nice and quick method of getting decent buildings made.  I have a test building in the works, but I'm using foamboard instead of wood.

Interesting ideas.

My additions to that would be to use art foamboard to allow quicker cutting, and to create the windows on a computer and print them out.  Would be neater and you would only need to design one and then print it lots of times.

yeah, printouts would probably work out well.  I think I liked this so much because I'm comfortable freehanding the details with a marker.

I do have a nice band saw and scroll saw, but I too chose foamboard.  It is just so easy to work with.

I also like foamboard, for its ease of working, versatility, and ready availability.  :)
