Progression on the Extra-Heavy Russian Troopers...

Grenade launcher, mini-gun, flamer and coilgun, from left to right.

here's the "heavy" trooper: this is actually a confusing term as it is really an armoured exo-atmosphere suit, rather than specifically heavy armour.

and the WIP on the Exo-Atmos weapons:

and these are the standard issue weapons for the ordinary infantry.

They are designed for use in different TQs (tech levels) and so are specifically low-tech in design and function. This allows Nova-Rus to mass-produce a single range for light infantry weapons that can be used across all of their Habitats, regardless of their indiviudal tech restrictions.

The first shots of the standard infantry greens ahve now been received and are looking very promising, we hope to have the Russians available by SALUTE 2011.

PS. Jed asked me to remind folks that he is very rarely on forums nowadays, so dont expect him to know about PMs to his account here and elsewhere, best to email him directly if you need to get hold of him!
