Oh I love that sunset shot.

Haha - and I was thinking the same thing!

That photo may have become the most popular of all my pics thus far....I am surprised though that other Folks beside me remember that song. Thanks, von Lucky!

Thanks, Fram. Compliments on my photos are rare indeed.

Perhaps inspiration can be found in another song from around that era. Would love to see your take on a 1 eyed, 1 horned, flying purple people eater.

You guys don't know anything about bikinis! ;)

...another trip down Memory Lane.
That would be a cool project or side-project. I think a conversion would be more up my alley than a from-scratch piece.
Thanks for the reply, HerbyF!

...now we are approaching the proper interpretation of "itsy bitsy, teeny, weenie". All we need is the yellow polka dot part.
Thanks for the photo & the reply, dino!

...I'm as restless as a willow in a windstorm; I'm as jumpy as a puppeton a string. I'd say that I had Spring Fever but I finished fleshing out the Faerie Goblins AND finished one. These are the ones fleshed out:

...the finished Faerie Fellow:

...with a closeup of the Fly Boy:

...AND Mushroom:

...PLUS a Group Photo:

...or two:

...now back to staring into space.

PS: I found the alternate Ral Partha Gypsy Dancing Girls:

BTW: DeafNala, how do you achieve this "grey effect"? Black primer spray + grey brush?

That's my base coat. I paint the piece, mini or terrain, with a thin coat of black; then I do a white dry brush once the black is dry.
I do it partly for the effect on highlights & shadows, & partly to help pick out the details for my tired old eyes.

AND the Girls will be happy to hear you gave them the thumbs up.

DeafNala, thank you very much! I like that "grey" effect very much, it really seems to bring out the details!

They're lovely!  :-*

The siren call of The Green Stuff...it's taken over from The Wild...had me knock out three new Mushrooms:

...now while they cure, I'll get back to the serious business of painting Faerie Goblins.
