last picture in that batch is, in particular, so beautifully fantastical and evocative.

Thanks, Bloggard. I look forward to the Group Portraits with each batch. I am happy you liked it.

Yes!!! All your gang on the photo stage!!!
Perfect pictures! Amazing! Your creations, in an ideal environment!
At once they get a 3D look, they take even more life and their colors pop!
And the little monk, here and there, playing with the photo lens!
I come back to see them again and again! So nice!
Looking at these pics, makes me happy!!! Cheers!

Thanks, for the kind comments, Dinos. I am delighted you enjoyed it. A big plus for me is that you & quite a fair number of other Folk find the Mushrooms make them happy.
I had some focusing issues with some of the pics, & had to retake a few. The colors look just about right. The Little Monks are popping up in all sorts of places...there is a little mushroom with a face as well.

Oh I love that blue!
The colour scheme on these fellows tickles my brain the right spots too.

Thanks for the reply, Fram. The blue is Folk Art Ink spot. I did blended highlights with Cobalt Blue & Americana Calypso Blue; then a wash with the Ink Spot.
It reminds me of the Garde Francais. The red & green caps are favorites with me...I am delighted you like them as well.

:o They look amazing in a big group together!  :o  Well done good sir, your work is inspirational as always!

Thanks, Smoke Frog. I am happy you like the Group pics AND that you are getting inspired is quite a compliment.
The Group pics are slightly out of focus, but the effect is pleasant nonetheless.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

The prototype for the three remain (thus far) October Mushroom is done.

The one on the right reminds me of Zero Mostel; SO I was thinking of calling this type of Mushroom Mostels.

Mushrooms of the sentient variety are all a bunch of untrustworthy scoundrels. Thanks for the reply, Fram.

I got an idea for a new style Pumpkinhead/Jack O'Lantern Horror from this illustration (Pinterest):

SO I gave it a try:

It is a bit larger than I intended, but not too much so. I am pretty happy with the results.
I picked up a couple of techniques that I will apply to further Jack O'Lanterns.

Apart from their face expressions, I like their "flesh" tones! Cheers!
