He doesn't look very trustworthy...I don't think I'd have him watch my dog for me.

Today I finished up a bunch of more regular Mushrooms & have the Bounders about halfway to completion not counting their bases. After that I have some bridges/walkways to make to connect the islets with some Creatures to live under them...adding excitement to the trip.

There are also a few hundred minis to do...that made me tired thinking about it.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Great work, they are fabulously done! Mind you, they do look a bit scary though... Certainly the one with the hand sticking out his mouth. I wouldn't want to meet them at night.

Pictures please??  :)

Thanks, Cyber; glad you like the Lads...they're rather pleased with being scary.

If you like, I'll put up a photo of the ordinary Mushrooms en mass when I post the Leaping Lads. I should have them up later today or tomorrow.

 :o :o :o

While the Bounders are up to usual high and CRAZY standard, seeing those 'Shrooms all en masse is a wonder to behold!
 :-* :-* :-*

Seriously impressive and made me grin from ear to ear.
 :D :D :D

Thanks, Paul...that's my shot of motivation for the day.

If you can really pull off the ear-to-ear grin, you'd probably look good with the Mushrooms...maybe I should add ears to the Lads.

Great work on those! I love the swirlyness of the ordinary mushrooms and the mushrooms with faces look wonderful as usual! There's just so many of them...  :o

Thanks for taking time to comment, Guys!

I'll admit to being pleased with the amount of personality my Mushroom Guys display...I've found my thing...so to speak!

There's just so many of them...  :o

There is something to be said for the mass effect.

Wonderful! Now you need to come up with a proper sound effect for a horde of pogoing mushrooms that you can play before wielding the horde on the table :D

Thanks, pocoloco...that's a GREAT Forum handle by the way.

I don't suppose Pop Goes The Weasel would work? I didn't think so either.

They go crunch don't they?  >:D

The bounders are great - cads too no doubt!  ;)

However that truly is a wondrous surfeit of fungi  :-*

Thanks, Thantsants...I'm glad you chimed in: your comments always have a cheering effect om moi.

No doubt: cowards, bullies, cads & thieves...to steal a quote from Dudley Do-right.

However that truly is a wondrous surfeit of fungi  :-*

Funny thing: I posted on two other Forums, but only included the Mass Mushroom Shots here. AND I've only gotten replies here...I may have stumbled on a winner.

Thanks for the reply, Suber. It may sound trite at times, but I do appreciate the feedback; it's highly motivating for moi, &, to be honest, addictive.

Silly as the pieces can be, there is something truly disturbing & yet appealing about the  Beasties. I think I may have stumble on to something with these. Making them is a joy & a manifestation of the lack of a social life.
