There we go! Glad to see everything's on the way. The wood and textures are really beautiful close up :D

I think for suggestions, the area shown in your first & second photos could use just a dash more personality. Not a lot, or else gamplay would be impeded, but perhaps some debris in a crook between buildings, or maybe some odd fetishes or trinkets (small stuff) nailed or tied to the support beams or the front of a house?

Or another idea would be anything to distinguish the shacks from the front - how would the residents mark their dwellings? Crude numbers or nameplates? Little pictures or ornaments? A "No peddlars" sign on someone's door?

Whatever you do, have fun with it!

A sign for Mid Way would be good too (or maybe there is one and I just missed it?).

EDIT: Holy Christmas, this thread's 100 pages now!  :o

Thanks for the suggestions & kind reply, Fram. The signs are a definite along with some barrels (already painted & ready to mount...on the board that is). I have some candles on poles to scatter about & some for The Tree. A hand holding a head (for the view) will probably be added to the graves...scenery is never really finished.

One of the things I love about this forum is the unlimited pages you can accumulate in a thread. On Google Forums, when you hit 46 pages, the thread is closed at 40 & a new thread starts with the last 6 pages. I have a couple of multipart threads on Tom's Boring Mordhiem Forum...it's annoying.

All the details look great, but those mushrooms in the graveyard caught my eye.
Very nice indeed!  :-*

Thanks, Paul! The Graveyard Mushrooms have become favorites with moi also. I have a couple of them with faces that will probably go by one of the graves.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Thanks, weismonsters! I have to admit that The Project has been the most enjoyable thing I've ever worked on...I hope it shows.

Thanks for the kind replies, Blackwolf, von Lucky, & Dr. The Viking!
I have nearly identical threads on two other forums. The largest of the two is about half the size of this one. The difference is all the fine folk over here who take the time to respond to threads they enjoy. WELL DONE L.A.Mers!

Oh my! LOVE how the shanty town turned out. Really liking how the houses are all colourful, despite the "shanty-ness" of the living sector they're located in!

The graveyard with mushrooms is a nice touch as well. Glad to see it's still moving so speedily and creatively. Congrats on reaching 100 pages of thread!

Thanks, Princess...I appreciate the motivation early in the day.
I enjoy color. I probably could work out a rationalization for it, but it's just my nature. I'm glad you like it too.

I added some street lighting & a inquisitive graveyard denizen yesterday, After I add some greenery today, I'll take some more photos.
I hadn't been paying much attention to the page count. SO it came as a surprise when it was pointed out. I'll try to make the next 100 more interesting.

Do your denizens "collect" anything? I love the brass knockers on the doors and I was reminded of birds that collect shiny things for their nests, following along Fram's thoughts of individualism of the hovels.

It's looking Great!

Thanks for the reply, Jevenkah!
I would imagine that the Goblins are attracted to/fond of shiny things..OOOH SHINY.
The door knockers/handles (multipurposing) are styrene sheet plastic, paper punched circles with eye pins & jump rings from the jewelry section of my craft store. Online eebeads has some GREAT & useful jewelry bits including watch parts for steam punking:

As the sign says, there are a few more details some of which I photographed...well actually the Camera of Continual Contrariness made the photos...she said to say that.

SO...Some Candles Around The Town:

AND in The Tree:

The Neighborhood Watch:

The next thing to be added is some signs. In the interim feel free to offer your comments & critiques.
