More Weird WWII than pulp. It's made for television,so what can you expect. I've had it lying around for ages, along with "SS Doomtrooper" and didn't watch either of them yet. When I do, I'll expect them to be bad, which usually is the only attitude to get *some* enjoyment out of this crap anyway.

Saw a little of it last night. On a par with "SS Doomtrooper" I would say. Which is to say: Not good!

Shooting down Jerry fighter planes with mortars is a good idea, though. I don't know why our boys didn't actually try that in the war. Got him with their first shot, too. Must be a good mortar. In most games I've played I can never hurt anything on the ground with a mortar, let alone something flying about at 300mph!

When I saw the movie, I had the sort of wargamerish reaction that shows we are all crazy:

"Hey! Everyone knows gargoyles are low-altitude flyers. there's no way they'd be able to get up to the level that bombers would maintain!"

Am I right or what????   :?  :?:  :?:

Spot on Howard and secondly how was it that the British Paras and the downed pilots were behind enemy lines and flying in from England then  all of a sudden they return the Spear of Destiny with a US infantry Honour guard???

My most TMPish anal Wargamer reaction was:

"The beret on the British Airborne chap is the wrong shade of red."

I try to leave that kind of thinking on TMP. It's not something we encourage here at Lead Adventure.

I say, indeed - who cares about berets when there´s fifth column nazi gremlins to kill! Just as well that they weren´t Russian ones. Those "Gremlins from the Kremlin" where SERIOUSLY obnoxious.
