I wouldn't go that far.

Bit of a geek at the shallow end of the autistic spectrum is probably much closer to the truth.

My gnome wisard (clearly I need one now) will perhaps be called Johan Sul-Stone just checked google and you should be able to work out the reference.

Dr John Sulstone I presume!  :D

Good one - I like puns within puns!  ;D

Nice website Comsquare - hadn't come across that one before!

I do like that Gourgaz mini, especially as it mirrors the illustration in one of the books - forget which one now and my collection is under a dust sheet somewhere...  :-[

That's the one! Might have to dig it out for some bedtime reading - wife might wonder what all the paper and pencils are all about though!  ;)

Back to The Larder of Doom!!! - Having read the rather good magic rules Dave has updated I'm just putting together and painting up a few things that may come in handy...  >:D

Apologies!

Maybe the whole genome project is really an evil gnome plot to convert us humans to a more gnomey way thus paving the way to a gnome takeover...  :o

Pretty much ready for The Larder of Doom!!!, although I probably won't get much gaming time until Sunday - familial duties tomorrow and the weekend...  :-[ - although I am being taken out to restaurants two nights in a row so its not all bad!  :D

Anyway back to more important matters - been busy painting a couple of things that will come in handy for the odd turn at magic -

And for my next trick...

something a little more impressive than a rabbit out of a hat!

Can you dig it?! :D

A slightly smaller but no less important mini for the upcoming game -

Its an old chaos familiar - thought he'd be god as a little toadling in Slann Warband - the scouts could use him to obtain venom for their blowpipe darts!  :D

However, this little fellow will be most useful in case anyone should get turned into a toad in my next game of Skulldred! Well he'll do till Dave gets those toads released with Bederken...

Nice elemental, mate! I've been tempted by that fig for ages, think it's great. At the same time, I have a full collection of prepainted elementals in various sizes. Great job on the belly of the toadling, I've never managed to do that well.

Well done for 'digging up' ( :D) that earth elemental!

Great model! Even better paintjob!

Looking forward to seeing what maniacal adventures you are coming up with next.  :)

I get pysched everytime you post new figures.  Great job on the elemental.  I can't wait to see how you tie the Slann into this whole adventure.  Keep it up.

Rocky, Frog Guy, & the Wiz are all VERY COOL...not to mention well painted. I've really enjoyed reading through your Battle Reports; knowing it's an ongoing thing is a real plus.

Thanks for all the kind words folks, although I'll have to disappoint you Bloodysword - I've only pinched the Toadling from the Slaan warband - they will be a project in the distant future once I'm done with Orc's Drift...  o_o

Or if let myself get distracted I may select a few to paint up for the LPL...

Cheers Phreedh - the toad was painted almost entirely with inks apart from the usual undercoat and a drybrush with Vallejo buff - oh and some watery white highlights on the belly!  :D

My commiserations LeadAsbestos - although you can go through all the fun   :D and expense  >:( of tracking them all down again!

Next instalment - all being well should be wending its way to a forum near you early next week...
