Since wrapping up my recent ACW project, I've moved on to some WWII skirmish and FIW 28mm stuff.  Started the Waffen SS last night. Ultimately I'm thinking one 1:1 platoon of these and the 101st ABN. Who knows after that. Anyway, I've worked up a few camo patterns based on some pics and Farnworth's painting guides.

Figures are the Hicks sculpted Bolt Action.  Love these, cost be damned.

Thoughts from our resident WWII gurus or otherwise?

This looks really great, fantastic painting... much better than my own I must say. I have been practicing on a few old spaceorks to get it at least to tabletop standard :-P

However, if you want advice on what camo goes on what type of clothing, let me know. I have greater knowledge about period german uniforms than I have painting skills I am afraid of :(

Brilliant!

The Camo is very well painted and one of the hardest uniforms to paint.
