Civilian type WIP (update: Finished!)

Posted this up on Frothers as well, here goes.

Figured I'd post this up for constructive critique. I'm by no means a pro sculptor, I just had some leftover putty so I'm whiling away on this. Tips, comments and things like that are much appreciated. Completely crushing comments won't cause me to bin it, either.

I'm aware that the fur is pretty unfinished, especially in the back. The little detail that there is is pretty soft and the zipper canal (or whatever it's called) is pretty wonky.

The model is intended to be a civilian or otherwise a pretty generic type. Could be used in various contexts, from a scifi colonist to just a bloke in winter clothing. The right hand I've not quite decided on. It could either be holding a walkie talkie or a cigarette. Ideas?

Swop the head for one of the hasslefree male ones, much nicer than the dolly head and better proportioned now muscled and clothed.

Good idea! I happen to have a few extras. I'll probably have a go at sculpting the face, first, and then stick in the HF head when I'm completely frustrated.

Ended up sculpting the face after all. Nothing to write home about, but hey, practice makes perfect I guess.

With the next one, maybe! Dunno, somehow it seems like an easy way out, as I think the face is by far the most difficult part of a mini to get right.
