Just started this last night while those strange noises were coming from the Euro vision contest on the TV,, There's still loads to do, its very much a Work in progress..

made from milliput and Procreate...

Also, I think I might have a go at guessing your location by the origins of its "base"

Nice and all, but this very very very similar to the Tengu miniatures one released a while ago:

Shame you couldn't have gone in a slightly different direction with this. Will work with it if production cast, but again a little too similar, (plenty of protplasmic options for a shoggoth to look different).

Sorry I'm not trying to step on any ones toe's

I'm new to sculpting and this is just for practice really, Still learning

Should i still finish it or start over with a different design?

Stay with it it's looking good, if you were going to produce it though I'd give Blackstone a PM (Tengu Miniatures Iain, nice guy). Who knows, he might even take it on board as a smaller shoggy to do with his slave shogg. Either way it would be nice to give him a nod.

Maybe extend it out with a pseudopod (kind of like it is flowing/oozing out as it extends out) rather than tenticles. That would be a very different model from anything else produced so far. Looking good.
