No worries  , I myself have gotten into the Old West heavily just this past year or so and I had a lot of the same questions.

I use the Foundry ACW Out West figures along side of Artizan and Crusader.
The only Black Scorpion figures I have are the Apaches which are very good.
The early Foundry stuff will not match with the later Foundry figures, imho.

Knuckleduster scale up fine, they are not quite as pretty as Artizan or Foundry but have lots of character, and Knuckleduster has great service.
