Unfortunately the next batch of photos has to wait until Mordheimer has the time to take them...the minis are off in distant Florida. HOWEVER, I'll try to coax my Demonically Possessed Camera of Continual Contrariness into taking some photos of Astounding Mediocrity of my W.I.P. stuff as I finish things.

Hi DeafNala, it's great to see your work in this forum.

Those gobbos are really great, and all that mushroom ties them all into a very tight army.

Your painting style is very "retro" (in a VERY GOOD sense), and makes me recover the wonder I felt soooo many years ago with the first mini magazines of ages gone, when each single pic wasn't a masterpiece, and you know that they were made by-for gamers and not for display.

Some WIPs would be great.

I hadn't thought of that one, but, now that you mention it, they could be inhabiting their own vision of the world...kind of like waking up in a Jimmi Hendrix ablum cover. NOW that's a bad trip!

Crazyness! You sculpt all the mushrooms?

I just got the new book today.  Gave it a quick once over, got work on a new army list, plan to fit in the Aracnarok Spider or whatever it is called.  All goblin force, not even any Giants or Trolls...

Mushrooms are my thing...or, at least, pat of my thing. I usually do them from left over epoxy putty. The putty is applied over cocktail picks or bamboo skewers. For REALLY BIG ones I use florist foam cones for the top.

Thanks, Damien....mushroom-wise, you ain't seen nothing yet. The mushrooms in the photo are part of a W.I.P. Steampunky Mordheim-in -a-Cavern gaming board (3'X3'). The center tower is a Mushroom with attached structures that's a bit over 30" tall. I haven't figured out where to post W.I.P. photos of the Beasty.

Reminds me of when I first got a PC and played Warcraft 3, and they have that mission where you run through some underground cavern with your orcs or something and all the flora are red mushrooms....
Or maybe thats Outland?

I forget.

Looks very good though, can't but help feel slightly nostalgic over the underground mushroom forests thing!

I can identify. Although I really suck at P.C. games, I've always enjoyed watching over my sons shoulders as they battle their way through the Beasties. The scenery in World of WarCraft is inspiring.
