Trumpeter Salute 2011

So, who else of the Western Canada/PNW LAF Brigade is going?

I'll be there, with bells on a pulp adventure game to run - the second outing of "The Amulet of Fire", probably updated to shiny-new 2nd Edition .45 Adventure rules! I gather Mr. Peabody (as he's known here) and a mate are running another pulp game Saturday evening; I hope to get mine in either Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning.

Uncle Mike and his catalog of resin horrors is apparently showing up. Bob Murch of Pulp Figures (Patient Zero of the Pulp Plague himself) is usually there.

Who else?

Sadly this won't include me because of a prior commitment with Rotary. However, the mesa should make it over (provided there is suitable transportation)

Sorry I haven't made it up since the old Inter-club tourniment Days with WWW. Sadly it looks doubtful for this year too. One of these years soon I hope.

I'm going.  Will be running a Silent Death Astro Smash on Friday night then gaming on Saturday and perhaps Sunday, but I'm from Vancouver so it isn't that much work for me to attend.  ;-)

As threatened I'm running Silent Death, a largely forgotten, but the none the less fun and fast playing space dogfighting game on the Friday.  Here is a token blog post.

Here is a picture of my painted space ships:

See some of you there hopefully.

I'll be there as well. I have nothing planned but am looking forward to seeing Bob Murch again and Dave (Sturmpioneer) from Kingsford as well. More than likely be there Saturday.

I wonder if Mr Peabody will be there. He's been kinda scarce lately.

I'm planning to pop by on Saturday - if I recognise any names/terrain or figures, I'll say hi :)

Saturday afternoon, 2PM (1400)!

Up against one of Bob Murch's runs of his Rugged Adventure China Station game, but what can you do?

I might have an actual copy of 45A 2nd Edition with me (USPS & Canada Post willing) but I will have the demo rules and rewritten 2nd Edition characters for use!

White Russians vs Red Air Pirates vs British Indian Army vs a Suspicious Safari vs Mercenary Merchant Sailors vs Mysterious Cultists! In the steaming jungles and seering deserts of India!

I might even have a poster-sized copy of the Amulet of Fire cover to give away, if I remember to pack it!

Oh the shame of lurking.... ::)
Count on seeing Peabody & 'Walt' on Saturday. I'll be helping Walt run his Savage Worlds based Pulp game, which has been conveniently scheduled to NOT conflict with Wirelizard's game. That way I get to play both!
Very much looking forward to making the Wet-Coast Canada LAF connection once again.
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Excellent. Looking forward to seeing you (and all my fellow LAF'ers) there. Probably won't stay all afternoon, but I always love having an hour or two to browse and chat. Besides, I have to drop some figures off to Wirelizard and more than likely purchase some more from Bob Murch.

Right, .45 Adventure 2nd Edition characters for Amulet of Fire finished.

The Amulet game on Saturday afternoon at TS will be a 2nd Edition game. Up until an hour ago, not even I was sure it would be...  ;D

Now I'm going to finish the glass of beer beside my keyboard and fall over.

What goodies from Mr. Murch are you thinking of getting?

Made it there and back, ran a good and well-attended game of 45A 2nd Edition, good to see some more of the Vancouver/West Coast LAF crowd again!

Managed a fair number of photos, will sort them out this evening and get the good ones posted.
