Thats what all the girls say, like the one who said "why do they call you Fast Svennn".  I pulled it out and she said "oh my thats impressive, will it hurt?" and I said "did it?" ;)

Back on topic. Thanks for the comments chaps (I'm sure Gluteus liked them too ;D) It is indeed a Mutineer gee-gee and I was under the impression they are Ebob too.

The layout of the flag is authentic, I just have no idea if these colours were ever used - I doubt it tbh.

The layout of the flag is definitely in keeping with HEIC regulations. It is way too large for a cavalry guidon, but wargamer's licence may apply here for aesthetic reasons (I think the League of Augsburg lads were among the first to deliberatly use oversized cavalry flags for no other reason than they look better that way).

As for it being carried in the field, it's unlikely : HEIC cavalry units had been following British army practice since at least the 1830's and never took their flags with them on campaign. So this is historically wrong but aesthetically right  ;)

Bugger, was in a bit of a rush when I managed to guess the correct horse sculptor and managed to erase the part of the message that said something like:

"Great khaki shades and the horse is beautifully done etc etc"

The flag looks good to me, but possibly slightly too big for use on horseback? NB This is coming from someone who couldn't get that amount of fine detail on one at 54mm  lol

I don't think I've ever seen a Sikh irregular cavalry unit with a flag before, so have no idea how big they should be. Ignore me. Yours is spot-on!

The Sikhs have always been my favourite colonial troops, so yes I do like these very much  :)

The things we do just because we like our toys so bright and oh so pretty...

Not that we won't burn forever in the flames of hell for this, mind you : lectures on the proper use of the bricole in the age of Napoleon will be held five times a day in the fourth fiery circle, and the damned are reminded that attendance is mandatory  :D
