Oops I see. A the moment this thread is only about metal minis. Ramshackle are resin.
It says metal only for now. So can we include resin?
He that trades Liberty for Security will soon find that he has neither.

I have no idea what the price levels of resin models are. Is £1 cheap? Is £2 still cheap? Is £3 considered cheap?

Mind you, this is _cheap_ we're talking about. Not affordable, acceptable or value for money all things considered.

I've seen resin more and less expensive than metal, so if we treat them the same that would seem to be fair.

I think keep it the same as the rules for the metal miniatures. If its as cheap as the metal minis on here then its cheap. If its more expensive than the metal minis on here then it gets declined.

If I understand this thread correctly you might include http://www.classicminiatures.net/ miniatures - the old Der Kriegspieler miniatures are my personal interest but includes...

Currently or soon to be available:
copied and pasted:

Heritage "Rings of the Lord" (former Lord of the Rings)
Heritage Galacta 25
Heritage Champions
Heritage Superheroes
Heritage Medievals
Heritage Denizens of the Dungeon plastic fantasy figures (cast in metal)
Heritage former Star Trek 75mm Kirk & Spock (different names are used)
RAFM Cursed Ones
Archive (also known as Rkiiv, select surviving figures only)
Ral Partha Royal Armies of the Hyborean Age
Realm by Max Carr
Unreleased figures by Dave Sutherland III
very limited numbers of Heritage Fantasy, Fantasy Fantastics, Fantastiques and Heritage factory "toys"

Reality check:

This is not a business, but a hobby and labor of love.
I cast miniatures to order as my schedule permits.
I sell my castings on E-bay and directly to fellow collectors and wargamers, please email me and ask for a listing of what is available.
My "Shop" button is not set up at this time, let me know if there are figures or parts you need.

Indeed I am currently waiting for him to find time to cast around $100 of smiley faced Orcs.  That "Real Life" thing can be a PIA.  I think it's time to send a reminder/query about his casting time in the near future.

Contact e-mail is/was hayha@q.com or heritagecaster@yahoo.com last time I checked (late 2012.)

Now I just checked my last e-mail and found this price quoted:

"Plenty of the lesser goblins "smiley faced" are also ready to ship. The sets are $15.50 for 6 except for the leader and standard set of 4 figures which is $10 for 2 leaders & 2 standards."

I will have to see if this meets the price quote at the beginning.

Edit:

15.50/6 = 2.533333333333

2.5333 USD   =   1.57665 GBP

I think this meets the guide lines:

Some guidelines:
25-28 mm only (it is after all the most common scale played here)
Metal only (for now)
Cost of £2 or less for a human sized model
Only manufacturers with direct sales (regional resellers can be added)
Only manufacturers active in business

Gracias,

Glenn

That seems rational, logical, and consistent.

Couple of things

The Alternative Armies link gives a 404 not found. It looks like it should just be http://www.alternative-armies.com/ for the home page.

Given all the problems with Black Cat bases - http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=59375.225, it may be worth adding a comment to their entry, just so people are aware

Since the Black Cat bases debacle is still going on, they maybe should be removed as a recommendation till they have sorted things out?!
