@Curadh: Very nice yaks and handlers!

@Andy: Nice idea on the game...who will have to buy the next round of drinks?!

  • Pedantic bugger, apparently.
So what are the rules of "tronknagelen"?
Back from the dead, almost.

So what are the rules of "tronknagelen"?

You place a treetrunk in the middle and try to hammer a nail into it with as little strikes as you can. Only one hand is allowed to hold your "hitting device" (hammer, bat,...). Players take turns to hit one time and no aiming is allowed, ie the hammer (or other hitting thingie) needs to start next to the body for delivering the blow.

Not easy explaining this in english ...  ;D

Basically you try to hit a nail all the way into a treetrunk as fast as possible, alternating turns. (one hit allowed per turn)
Last one to get the nail in buys the drinks!  ;D

This may be the first time I've ever seen a tree trunk, all by itself on its own base.   :)   But then the LPL can be counted on to present some firsts.

And now to plan a game with my treetrunk on a base in a central role!  lol

Hahaha! How did you choose that theme Andy?! Also, we have that game here in Sweden as well, although I'd class it as "obscure".

Love the yaks!

Love the "jeu du clou" entry! Tough choice as I also like the yaks and the terrainpiece.  :?

That's called making something with the models at your disposal ... in short: improvise!  :D
We play that game here on carnivals and neighbourhood gatherings in our street. Very fun especially when there are some older men with a taste for beer who play too  lol
