I like both entries, but unclemike fitted the bonustheme the best so my vote goes there ... only way I could choose one.

Are both of your backgrounds handpainted?

Great atmosphere in the graveyard Uncle Mike.  The hand painted background really sells the theme.

I really like all of Thansants updates and this is no exception: great characterful painting on very nice models which I hope to see in a future battle report. The second entry is also very well painted and the hand painted background really helps to move this team to the top! 8)

Thanks all! The minis were great fun to paint. Still gnashing my teeth that I painted my old citadel civilians a while back!

Lovely work from Unclemike - those purples are fantastic in particular!  :-*

Not something I'd thought of before but a nice idea to do your own background - maybe I should get my old watercolours out next time!  ;)

Oh and Pil - despite nearly bankrupting me with printer ink, King Dave has brought out another version of the excellent Skulldred so these chaps will be wending their way to a swamp near you some time in the future...  >:D

While the Gobbos are fun, the graveyard Stroll really does it for me - That background is great, as well!

Lovely painting in both entries, but the guy wearing the spats for a midnight stroll through the graveyard in the second entry seals the deal for me - it doesn't get much more Call of Cthulhu than that! Well, a double-barrel shotgun, but other than that....

Thanx guys. The background is painted by me...badly...it spent about 4 months on the floor of my shop and was resurrected for the LPL as I only needed to show a very little of it...
