Hammers, awesome entry. There is just so much to see! The painting is great as well, with all the different motives you've used. Excellent entry, my favorite one for the round!

  • Pedantic bugger, apparently.

I think they're from Foundry's Xmas pantomime pack (they're known in the UK as "pantomime horses").
Back from the dead, almost.

Awesome!

Raz: good one on peoples doing their "business"  :)
and your old man in the suit is practically the same as mine, check it out, what are the odds...
(he must be painted in a brown!)

As said, there is so much going on in Hammers' entry and, strangely enough, what I really like is the decor on stage.
It really looks like some amateur cardboard DIY's.

@Tomsche: it is indeed a Foundry Christmas special. The dauphin of the Hammers, Fiver, son of Hammers, 3 year old, was very invested in this project, which lead to that at the time of shooting I could not for my life find the trans-gender Robin Hood character. He's hidden it somewhere.

@Northstar: glad that's the impression you get of the decor. It was exactly what I was going for. It was strangely satisfying to do an impression of an impression of an impression.

Difficult choice here ....

You're missing an 'H', H.  :)

My favourite thing is the stage scenery too. Barmy thing to fixate on, I know, but it is really cool.

Both of these are very strong entries ... but wow Hammers I think that this is the best that I have seen you do and that includes the great gypsies from last year!
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

I am mortified...

The explanation is that I base coated the banner, stencilled the lettering (correctly) bent the banner to shape and then airbrushed  the white hilites. Unfortunately it covered too much of the lettering so I had to go back and do the touch ups and that's where I fucked up.

How embarrassing, I assure you I know how it is spelled...

Of course you are right, Bezzo!

Hehe, I saw that too but also thought it was intentional!

Hammers, if it's any consolation, I think it fits in the setting perfectly!!!

Raz, what's that scrawled on the loo door? "I don't take shit from anyone"? =)

Top entries both, but my vote must go to my not-so-hamfisted countryman. Bloody great job, Peder!
