Great job on this guy.  He's one mean looking ogre.

This Ogre is huge. I always wanted this Reaper mini, you did a great job painting him; really like the shield.

Thanks again all!

Verderer, I think I'm going to have to disagree with you about the old Kagunk.  Possibly due to the fact I am not familiar with the cover art you are refering to!  :)

You should pick a model Damien, the model is definitely worth the time.

Well, we can fix that in no time. Here's a link to the cover: http://www.icewebring.com/ICE_Products/M1/M1_3700_LostRealmCardolan.php. Didn't want link that pic directly, in case it's not approved.

For comparison purposes, here's my version of the Troll ;):

The base needs doing but otherwise pretty much done. There are several things that appeal to me with this mini. Firstly, the already mentioned nicking from an Angus McBride art, the fact it's sculpted by Olley, and also that it looks very much like a proper armoured Mordor troll to me.

Nothing wrong with the new version either, of course. The style is completely different, even if the main elements are the same. It's somewhat more caricature-like, or something? And more obviously an Ogre than a troll, of course. Get both, I say.
