Urban Mammoth Junkers
« on: March 23, 2011, 10:20:58 AM »
Due to Urban Mammoth's recent sale on Metropolis boxed sets, I "accidentally" bought several boxes of Junkers, and found myself with a load of space romans to deal with.Deserter - I feel your pain. I'm normally the last to hear about a sale. Paintbrushes have be wielded (weld?) and I've managed to get the first 3 legionaries done. Apologies for the crappy pics - the light here is rubbish.

They really are a joy to paint. Plenty of detail, but not too fussy. Looking forward to getting the rest of the squad done in the next day or two.

I'll probably be using them in a Flying Lead game when finished, as well as maybe giving the Metropolis rules a spin.

All comments gratefully received.

They could also work for Caesar's Legion in Fallout games.  Nice job on them.

I've a boxset somewhere, but they are Void versions, not Metropolis, and I know mine don't have gas tubes.... they have a cloth face mask... not as much crap on their backs either...
