Saxon artillery 28mm 1871
« on: 31 March 2011, 11:18:59 AM »

Converted this myself as there is none on the market(FOUNDY BUT I REFUSE TO PAY THE PRICE),done a close up of the artillery piece and figures to show you the effect a V5 hi-tecpoint has,all the shades are done with a medium size needle, the beards, tash are touched with a pin..once done leave for 24 hours don't be disappionted if it smudge or you put too much on...apply the pure liquid ink around the beards'tash, belts and the dot in the middle of the field caps,if you apply too much wipe off and try again (not that you will be doing this very often) when you do use the V 5 pen use gently, the artillery gun is also touched up with the V5 and the barrel o the left.

The conversion of the crew are Helion 28mm figures and Victrix artillery british,i cut and pinned the arms ram rods ect, shaved a few bits here and there added mulitput and pva glue to hide joints.

The Victorian Outpost

Its a new gaming place in Grimsby with new terrain and new scenery, lots of respect for all wargamers and is the best place to game in town.

Anybody who wishes to visit the venue to arrange a game then  just pm me and lets roll those dice.
