Reconquista/El Cid
« on: 03 April 2011, 04:50:04 AM »
I want to start to create a Reconquista Army from the El Cid period at 28mm scale.  What company do you folks recommend to buy the miniatures?

Gripping Beast has a range for the reconquista.

I'd also suggest looking at Perry's First Crusade range

For the Spanish:
Gripping Beast
Crusader, the great thing is you can also mix in some of their Normans for more variety.
Could mix in early crusaders and Normans (see Perry, BTD, Conquest games, ...)

For the Moors:
Artizan,
Gripping Beast,
Could mix in some crusades moslim ranges, like Perry, BTD, Musketeer

Thank you for your advice.  I will look into the companies you mentioned.
