Well, that was the idea.

The second scenario in our 1914 "Rommel's Route to Verdun" campaign:

Teaser pics:

In this last pic we see the limitations of Pete's much-vaunted Caslon Antique font. Apologies to our French readers, but it appears to come shipped without an 'e' acute.

Harrumph. Any font that you can't use to say 'Beyoncé' ain't a proper font in my reckoning.

  :)

Edited for spelling Caslon incorrectly. Heavens preserve us!

Nice moustaches.  :D

A new Carlos Plynkes Adventure is always a treat. And this is no exception.

Very nice however the right words would be "Infirmier" (medic) or at this time "brancardiers"  (porters), but no "Medecin" (physician) was on the front line.

Ah,  thanks for the tip, SgtPerry. Wasn't sure of the correct word, and plumped for the wrong one. Typical, eh?

Um, maybe it's a nickname, like calling the squad medic "Doc" in English.

Yeah, that's it. It was totally deliberate. Yep.  :)

Well done, that man! A very entertaining read. What do you think of the PoG rules? I've been mulling over picking them up myself.

Did you not notice my bitching about it in my initial post at the top of this page, Pete? Okay, so I spelled it wrong. Oops.

Nice one with the pics. I particularly like "Teutonic Efficiency." That looks like a guide award you could hand out to Lead Adventure painters when they post impressive stuff, like Michelin Stars for restaurants.
