Pulp Cop & Robbers
« on: April 07, 2011, 01:17:12 AM »
Finally got my Pulp figures in front of the camera and have begun blogging about them:

http://rabbitsinmybasement.blogspot.com/2011/04/pulp-part-2-gangsters.html

Postings about assorted civilian characters and my Marine platoon to follow!

Thanks for looking.

James

Nice stuff!  The Iron Wind figure was one of the first Pulp figures I painted up...about a year before I even knew I'd be doing Pulp.  I went looking for some more from that line at Cold Wars, but they didn't bring those tubs.

Those vehicles make me realize I've made no plans towards procuring vehicles for my games.  Any ideas on inexpensive, but nice looking, cars and such for 1930s action...?  I'm not a stickler when it comes to makes and models, so they could be earlier models, too...

Ebay. I just bought a bunch of Lledo stuff there. Actually, Wirelizard and I have an unfinished list of models we want to get. One of these days I will release it.

However, be careful as to scale. The Matchbox Models of Yesteryear are visibly larger than most of the Lledo stuff. I prefer smaller vehicles, but that is a personal thing.

Prowl any place that sells diecast stuff. Some whacky scaling issues though. They are often scaled to fit the box. The promotional toys are another nice source if you don't mind having to repaint over a company graphic.
Blue Moon has a couple of cars for their gangster stuff which came out after I stopped adding to my collection!
