That Airfix kit is the one that got me started in this hobby in the first place (some 43 years ago! :o)

I meant wargaming, but I suppose it was my first model kit too!
Someone with no sense of age appropriate gifts gave me the kit when I was about 5 or 6. Dad helped me put it together and thought I needed some soldiers to go with it so we went down to the local hobby shop and got some airfix WW1 troops too! :D

That shop is still there too! :)

How to make smoke staks? I am noob in coversion.

I'm all talk, myself.  :D

I would point out the stacks in the other piccie you posted. A few dowels/styrene tubes and a bit of cotton wool would satisfy me...

Scratchbuilded interior for this model (not mine). Look how big enine and how many free space it consumes. Also dont forget the noise and smoke (vent is bad in this tank)

As I stated before, I can't understand doing it, but then, I've never sat in a trench in weather, pulled night patrols in jungle, been in a moving sub, or flew in a bomber as folks were lobbing flack. Perfectly happy to have kept my admiration, and that quite sincere, from afar.

Hello chaps

The smoke stacks are drinking straws and the turret is indeed from a Honey. I have another one with the turret absent and a more ship like bridge built on the top of the Tank, it also has a huge circular saw wheel for close combat with other  Leviathans, adobe walls etc . I can't find the picture at the moment, must be on an old computer.
