The Hairy Bikers
« on: April 26, 2011, 03:53:28 PM »

Had these painted up for a while, I shall be using them for Fear and Faith games with these stats:

Biker with Shotgun (Q4, C2): Shotgun, Grenade
Biker with Machine Pistol (Q4, C2): Machine Pistol
Biker Leader (Q3, C3): Heavy Weapon, Grenade, SMG, Strongwilled
Biker with Shotgun (Q4, C2): Shotgun, Grenade
Biker Babe (Q4, C2): Killer Heels, Love Interest, Pistol, Whatever!

What do you think?

Lovely job there. Actually relieved that they're not holding pots and pans.

So, zombies or some other menace for these bikes to bust up?

I'm still trying to resist fear and faith, tough I already own the rules and I'm a big dresden files fan and its cheap to get warbands together for these games. Argh.

Sounds like a hopeless case, you might as well give in  ;)

Doc, that blue you've come up with for the denim is stunning! It ties all the gang members together nicely. Care to share the recipe?

Thankyou all for the kind comments.

The Demin colour is GW Hawk Turquoise Darken with a dark blue (Regal Blue?) then a layer Hawk Turquoise on its own and finally a layer of Hawk Turquoise with a bit of GW Ice blue(?) mixed in (although I'm sure any light blue or even off-white would do).

I can't resist making these small warbands for the Gnesha Games' games. Its a nice excuse to rattle off some figures you like and then play around with their warband builder creating a list you like. I just finished up some Gothic Horror Werewolves this evening and it wasn't a lot of work but it was a lot of fun (I'll post pics tomorrow all being well).

Those do look great.  I have a lot of those figures painted up too, but yours look fantastic compared to mine.  Your skin tones are great.

The stats look good too.  I may have to break out my copy and get a game together.   I was planning on using Two Hour Wargames Chain Reaction 3.0 or the Rebel Minis version called Modern Havok.

Those are wonderful and I particularly like the denim look, I've always found that a hard one to do so thanks for sharing the technique, it more than makes up for my mild disappointment that there isn't one with a geordie accent in the process of whipping up a Moroccan tagine or Quiche provençale.
