Great color scheme Dr.Chimpula!

The Mountains of Madness setting is really cool as well, I fear for those poor penguins...
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

That's a great collection of fishmen, but D@rth's vibrant colors win my vote.

Wow what a really hard choice, but I have to agree with Mancha.

Wow. Both are fantastic, and this'll be a hard choice. Time to reach for the Magic 8-Ball, I think.

Everybody is Copplestone.  The albino penguins and dog team, also Copplestone.  The Formless Thing(s) are from Uncle Mike's.

Wow, two fantastic entries! I had to go for the Mountains as well: it has more painted models, who appear to be slightly better painted and set against a more extensive backdrop. All this awesomeness has left Chimpula's fabulous, atmospheric and colourful entry far too barren of votes for comfort. Ah well, such is the LPL, all I can say is: great job both!

Also, why are the penguins all albino? Should I read the story to find out?

This is one of those matchups where the vote totals don't convey how close these entries are.  I love the flames on the bases and the hand painted background of Dr.Chimpula's entry.

Pil, you should read the story "At the Mountains of Madness" by H.P. Lovecraft... ;)
(It's short - albeit one of his longer ones and one of my personal faves)

Bobbo, I agree.  Dr. Chimpula has a fine entry that doesn't seem to be reflected in the voting.  Such is the LPL.  I am a huge fan of the Fishman too (having entered two different sets in 2 consecutive LPLs!)

I HAD to vote for the dog teams! But that lightning was Amazing! The figs too! I believe if the fishmen were against another contender it would have won!

Truly a Lovecraftian and Uncle Mike's affair! I must admit, that I am not surprised by the votes however, as Darth's entry has so many amazing models and scenery that are painted superbly. It's all part of the competition, you never know who you will be up against!  :) Just part of the fun!
