Inspired by the good Captains latest work I finally finished the bases for Gloucesters retinue bowmen, Perry plastics of course, livery badges by Citadel Six.

Another one !

Aaargh. My own medieval miniatures, painted with Humbrol twenty years ago, refuse to get out of their boxes any more. They feel too shameful. I'll probably have to give them psychological aid if I want to bring them to a battlefield again.  :'(

Nice subdued colours going on there  :-*

Maybe pulling the camera back a bit and then zooming in would help with the depth of field (I'm certainly no photographer of any means but it has worked for me in the past  :) )

cheers

Thanks for the camera advice, my camera has a very poor depth of field period, but I will give your suggestion a go next time :)

Very nice Phil  :)
Great natural poses you've achieved...
Those two in the second row appear to be deep in conversation - it's crying out for a caption / couple of speech bubbles  ;)

"Was that you?"

"No, must have been Harold in front, he had cabbage for lunch"

Boy between you and the Captain. Your making it hard to resist making yet another army.  ;) Awesome job all round.

Aaaah... For a moment I believed that this sentence was an answer to this:

Great job. My figures are getting another outing on Sunday as we're playing our second game with A Coat of Plate rules. Hopefully we've spotted where we went wrong last time and I'm going for something a bit bigger this time.

Great authentic "medieval" shades you've used there. Love these boys! You  must have a fair-sized army building up by now.
