Our Venus campaign paused from the world-map level plotting and our campaign GM ran a Skirmish game.
I love the chance to narrow the focus down to the individuals & their stories.

The game wasn't really called Raiders of the Lost Maintenance Locker.. but it is pretty descriptive of what happened.

Here is the set up:

The Belgians not long ago discovered the presence of the Ottoman Empire in the mountains to the north of the various nation's land grabs.  None had even known the Ottomans were on Venus, let alone in such vast numbers and so well supplied.  Another recent discovery was formidable doors to an underground network.  The local branch of the multi-national organization, Mad Geniuses for a Better Tomorrow, decided it was only proper to send one representative of each nation along with personal support that they felt they required in a tontine pact of collaboration, to secure whatever devices could be obtained, before the Ottomans might lay their hands on it.

Couple teaser pictures:

A great, mad mix of characters,  lol
Really enjoyed the report on your blog, and it looked great fun.
Nice idea to mix the type and size of the games in your campaign.

That was a fun game, not what I was expecting though.
Skrapwelder was using a modified Unhallowed Metropolis rpg and turned it into minis.

It was a hoot to see the final fight of the guys try to figure out the 'transporter' and the control panel in the other room!  They didn't know who to shoot for!  lol

Lovely stuff and as the others said, what a great mix of figures etc. I love the terrain - really different and
I would assume challenging to play on.

Great game report  :D

It's probably obvious, but re: terrain, the dark cloth represents either solid rock or just darkness that can't be seen yet- we were going into a cavern of some type.. it was very much like a light RPG dungeon crawl.  So new corridors and rooms got laid out as we got in range to discover them.

Several of us had many flunkies, since characters other than sparks had more leadership ability, so could take more points in troops (to make up for not having amazing weapons)- but these troops tended to clog up the corridors.  Got around that by the group splitting up, and heading in three different directions almost simultaneously. I don't know if the space-gate was on a fixed scenario turn timer, but if it was, then it was good we did that or we might have had a constant flooding of Tharks to contend with.

The cobblestones are latex. I made a plaster negative and brushed the latex over it.
