I feel a bit out of it. I'd no idea 'boiling' was involved.

Sad news, as it is indeed fine work, and you've done so much to make it perfect.

Would it survive a casting? The form would work so well, given it's without splayed extremities.

What's the deal with cooking/boiling it? What material did you use?

I think if you are considering geting it cast you'd best speak to someone who knows about casting and the mould making process. Some mediums don't work well for moulding purposes. As I was told: "If in doubt... Use GreenStuff".

Yes I think it will survive the casting :) the cracks are not big I'm just afraid if I cook it more times it will crack even more. When you boil the figure it cures a lot faster and I use Fimo modeling clay.

I'd make a resin master first then cast, if the the green explodes in the mould at least you could cast in resin from the silicon mould?

Ah, I've 'broiled' Fimo, but never 'boiled' it. ;->=

Good luck, and keep us up-to-date on progress as it goes.

Would you guys be interested in resin figures? Spin casting is not available in my country so I would do moulding and casting at home. I have experience with mold making and casting so it should be difficult for me to make good casts of this figure.

It depends on the price and the quality of the casting, but I am very interested to see what you come up with.

Hey guys I am terribly sorry for the hold up, it's the the final year in school for me so I have been very busy. The Nosferatu has not been yet molded as I am trying to find a silicone retailer near me.

I'm still loving the Nosferatu. Any chance we'll see some for sale?
