Great to see you back in the saddle, er, at table again! Hope you have the breather to enjoy the fruits of your labor!

I know, as long as you keep snapping the piccies, we will...  :D

Absolutely stirring stuff! Great looking battle with some lovely minis and what-not (especilly like the mole-machine), but also fantastic to see all the architecture together at last.

Thanks for all the great comments!! I've had a crap month or so and its good to be back in the game.

There's still a fair bit of work to do. There's a couple of builds at various stages of completion including a warehouse and in the last couple of days I've started on a bloody great railway viaduct - as the railways were so important to the British economy its hard to ignore them. I'll probably build a station at some point too..... and another pub.

As Guedens said the set up still looks a bit too clinical but I'm intending to add more street furniture and signs of civilisation such as wagons, barrows, shops with displays etc. While I'm putting a wish list together I'm waiting for the money fairy to leave a wad of notes under my pillow  ;).
Don't!

Wonderful stuff. Can I ask, who makes the hooded figures with the flamethrowers...or are they homemade?

WOW Neil  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
You have surpassed yourself.
Great to see it all together in one photo. Is that an extra close between the buildings. Gas works looks great all laid out. Some very nice figures as well.
Inspiring stuff.
Looking forward to the rest of the pics.
I have been back and forward through these original pics about half a dozen times and the drool has nearly killed my computer. :D

Cheers Pete!

gamerMac, glad you like project. You'll see them in the flesh in November, should I bring a bib?  ;) With regards to the close, do you mean between the terraced houses?

That's just top drawer! Absolutely spiffing. really like the rowhouses.

I also rather like the Prussian APC. Simple but effective model.

With regards to the close, do you mean between the terraced houses?

Many years ago when I was at GW we had a conversation about colloquial terms for a passage, a genal, a close etc. and it escalated to the point where during every phone call for a few days we would ask for the local term - there are hundreds.

And should the title not be "Trouble Up't Gasworks"  :)
