Mattias
I suspect this may be more likely to be from 1920's american films? I cannot imagine taking a movie camera aloft in 1914-18 during combat.

I have seen film of the devastation of the war from the air.

Hi Bezzo.

No, it´s not clips from some 20´s movie.

You be the judge. You can see one of the clips here: (at 8:57):

All the best!  :)

It's pretty good. The only thing that spoils it a little for me is that while exotic locales were used to shoot the NWF and Sudan battle scenes, Wales is made to stand in for South Africa. To me it just looks too much like home, and not some exotic country on the other side of the planet. But it is a little thing.

I don't know how full the version is that is currently doing the rounds. It was recently on British TV and the NWF scenes were cut altogether.  :(

I rented "The Baader Meinhof Complex" and was educated about this group's activities. Well worth viewing in my opinion.

I just watched "The Good, The Bad, And The Weird".

 lol

I want so badly to do BoB/pulp crossover now. Several types of bandits vs Japanese Imperial Army vs Mongols, with high pulpish gunplay. Awesome.

If you haven't seen this, do. Well worth the two hours plus.

Peter the Great with Maximillian Schell as the tsar.

Battle scene from the Great Northern War 1:13 into this clip. Swedes charging a russian bastillion. Historically incorrect but fun to watch!

As long as we win the battle I am willing to watch it.
