Although this series of videos is in Japanese you can still glean a lot of great techniques from it. I was very impressed with his surfacing of the model and very artistic brush painting. And the fact that he sculpts an entire miniature pilot for the model.

Oh, thank you for the explanation. I had never heard of youtu.be before today. I do apologise for my suspicion. And thank you for the video. Those Japanese modellers are absolutely mind-stunning! Funny that "sandpaper" is called... "sandpaper".

Yeah a lot of terms and paint colors are the same, just pronounced differently. I keep hoping to learn more Japanese just by watching these. But it doesn't seem to be working.
